[1] Press cards are issued by numerous organizations and editorial offices, which apply different criteria for issuing them. While some associations only issue cards to proven full-time journalists, others also issue them to part-time journalists. In addition, there are organizations that issue press cards for a fee to people who cannot prove that they are professionally active as journalists or who are satisfied with a confirmation signed by the applicant that he or she is active as a journalist, without requiring any further proof.
